QUALITY METRICS

How to read this page

Cognitive EEG uses the exact Review QC on raw acquired samples: 5 s windows, 1 s hop, Amp + RMS + 1/f (−4 to −0.2 exploratory) + gaps. A window is accepted when at least one available ear passes the four checks. Behavior EEG uses 1.5 s windows, 0.5 s hop, and gap/coverage checks only (no amplitude, RMS or 1/f rejection). Video reports the percentage of MediaPipe-analyzed frames containing a face, when saved. Sync is evaluated separately and should be checked before model training. A percentage of overlapping windows is not a percentage of independent trials. Cached QC can be refreshed with “Recalculate QC”.

Sessions are held in this browser (IndexedDB), not in a regular Windows folder. Use Archive ZIP to back up an individual session, or Choose archive folder in supported Chrome/Edge browsers to save ZIP files directly to a folder you select. Otherwise the ZIP goes to Downloads. Keep a separate backup before deleting any recording. Import ZIP restores a portable session. Dataset selection and preview are available in v0.7.50; session-held-out Behavior and Cognitive EEG training is available in Model.
